What I've been using recently.
I'm currently reading "Creativity, Inc." by Ed Catmull which talks about the journey of Pixar. Not only did it bring back memories of a lot of Pixar movies that I watched as a kid, but it also made me want to relive those moments. So I decided to watch the Pixar movies in chronological order. To tie it in with my learning, I thought I'd watch each movie with Swedish subtitles.
What I Need To Work On Next Week.
I came across a term known as sentence mining. This is where you put more emphasis on learning phrases as oppose to individual words. This is what I was doing before I realised it was a thing! For some reason, I stopped doing this method. I should really bring it back into my learning. Time to start researching on the common phrases to learn.
I came across an online test that roughly tells you where you are in terms of fluency in a language. I answered a dismal 15 out of 40 questions. When I got my report I wasn't too down as I realised I'm somewhere in between the A2 bracket, which is one level below where I want to be!
If you're interested to see where you are you can take the test here.
